This is one of my favorite photo spots.
I love having flowers in our yard…there’s not much than can rival the show when they are all in bloom…but if it is a flower that can delight the nose as well as the eyes? Well that’s even better.
In the background behind that can you can faintly make out what's left of the slowly receding waters of Lake Riverside.

I love this time of year, but I always think it is a little bit of a bummer as all the leaves fall off the trees. They are beautiful as they change, but when they are all gone, you know what is coming next.
Tuesday is typically the day that new albums and DVDs are released. As such, it seems like Tuesdays would be a good time to review, or at least talk about, some of those new releases.
Today looked and felt like a mid-October day, with cool air and a grey sky filled with clouds. Leaves are still green, but pale yellows and browns can be spotted if you look a little closer.
On the way home from helping out the in-laws with some yard work yesterday, we came upon a sight and a smell that made me feel so at home.
Tonight’s post is pretty short. Today’s cooler weather done flung a craving on me for some chili, so I grabbed the ingredients and cooked up this season’s first pot.
