5-14-2009 — In my opinion…

– Calipari has done more for UK Basketball in 2 months than Gillispie did in 2 years (even though in an earlier post I swore up and down Billy G was the man for the job!)

– Butter is better than margarine

– West Liberty needs a Taco Bell, so I can totally derail the diet I have been on

– The economy is on the right track, although the effects of the recession will probably linger throughout the year

– Gas prices will peak in the $2.60 – $2.70 range this Summer before falling back to around $2/gallon some …

In my opinion…

…Billy Gillispie is the man for the job at UK…but if things don’t rapidly improve here, but they keep getting better in Arkansas, the “we want John Pelphrey as UK coach” crowd is going to be a LOT more vocal.

…2008 went by too fast

…the economy sucks, and much of the blame can be placed on oil.  Oil got us in to the war…oil took more and more money out of our checks…and oil in turn helped destroy consumer confidence and all but destroy the American automotive industry….

BUT…

this economic mess COULD be a chance for us to …

In my opinion…

You need to be sure you check out the featured video (link listed below), so you can hear exactly what the media TRULY thinks about the McCain choice of Palin as his VP…not the spin you are hearing when the cameras are on, which is only intended to make all of us think that this race is truly going to be close, and that McCain is a GENIUS!!

Just watch, and listen.…

In my opinion…8-28-2008

Let’s see here…it has been almost 2 months since I’ve had an opinion, apparently.

So right off the bat, in my opinion…

I stink.

Now that we have that out of the way…

In my opinion…

the Democrats seem to be actually doing a good job at their National Convention.

Hillary has given the 2nd best speech that I’ve seen so far.  Kucinich is holding the #1 spot.

Bill Clinton should be allowed to be the King of the USA.

Gustav sounds like the name of a kid that would kick you in the groin and take your lunch money.  …

More of my opinion…6-17-2008

Like any of you are really interested in it, but whatever…here we go.

In my opinion…

It absolutely stinks that FEMA is just now giving supplies to Katrina victims.

It is a complete tragedy that there is a “dead zone” that we’ve created in the Gulf of Mexico…and it is growing.

I’m glad that Gore is backing Obama…but I wish he had done it sooner.

Obama will finally move us in the direction we need to go…even though it may cost us all a bit.

Firefox RULES.

Summer should be mid-to-upper 70’s, low humidity by day…and upper 60’s to low …

In my opinion…

Gas prices are too high…

The country’s morale is too low…

The economy sucks…

The election process blows…

The Democrats finally have a good candidate…

The Republicans wish that they had one too.

Those are just a few of my opinions…what do YOU think??…

More Media Bias…

Anyone who thinks the media isn’t trying to influence the election and help pave the way for who the eventual candidates will be is just not living in reality.

John Edwards placed 2nd in Iowa, but got absolutely NO coverage heading into New Hampshire.  Dennis Kucinich wasn’t even allowed to the debate table in Nevada.

And after yesterday’s caucus in Nevada, here is the headline CNN.com went with this morning:

“McCain, Clinton, Romney claim victories” – see for yourself right here.

There’s only 1 problem with that headline.  Even though Clinton technically won in Nevada, Obama got MORE delegates, because …

UK/Tubby/Coach Clyde…some thoughts

I saw this quote on a Kentucky Wildcat message board, and i just had to comment, because i thought it was PERFECT statement about the state of UK and Tubby and coach BCG…

“I appreciate the fact that Tubby has demonstrated the ability to take an outmanned squad and play a style and make the adjustments necessary to enable him to win more games than Coach Gillispie has so far.

However, I appreciate even more the fact that Coach Gillispie is busy working to make sure we don’t have to put outmanned squads on the court any more.”

i saw …

Staph…

What else is there to say, really? Everywhere you turn right now, people are talking about it. It is in our schools. It is in our restaurants. It is on our skin. Schools are being closed down so that they can be cleaned (which makes me wonder…aren’t they being cleaned anyway??). Listen, I’ve done my part not to help create the super bug. If I get sick, I just lay around and whine about it to anybody that will listen, and in a few days, I feel better…no medicine needed. But a combination of doctors being too quick to dish …
