Well, I’m sure most of you have seen the emails.

Obama won’t say the pledge of allegiance!

Obama is a Muslim!

Obama was sworn in on a Koran!!

What you may not have seen was THE TRUTH. None of those items are true, but nobody sends THAT email around. So, everyone gets the “full of lies” email and spreads the misinformation, scaring the poop out of anyone who will listen.

Well, if you have any doubts, Obama has now set up a web site to contradict all of the rumors (it really is a shame that he has to do it). If you’d like to see it, you can check it out here. It is called Fight the Smears, and it has all sorts of lies that have been told, along with the real story.

So, ignore those emails your cousin’s coworker circulated, and go read the real truth.

    Senator Obama is NOT a Dirty Muslim!

    “What you won’t hear from this campaign or this party is the kind of politics that uses religion as a wedge,” says Mr. Obama, while denouncing statements of him being a Muslim as a smear. Why is the presidential candidate who claims to be religiously inclusive is treating the word “Muslim” as an insult? Apparently, it is OK for Mr. Obama to be associated with terrorists like William Ayers or racists like Jeremiah Wright, but God forbid somebody would call him a Muslim! No, he won’t stand for that kind of smear! We admit that most terrorists are Muslims, but most Muslims are not terrorists and the statement on Mr. Obama’s website is insulting to hundreds of millions of people.

    How could a man who discards his family heritage in favor of political expediency be even considered for presidency of the United States? Where are all the so-called “Islamic civil rights groups” like CAIR, MPAC, ISNA, MAS, etc. who are quick to defend every Islamic terrorist, but are silent when Muslims in general are being denigrated? Would Mr. Obama have the same reaction if someone claimed that he was raised as a Jew? We sincerely doubt that.

    Muslims Against Sharia demand immediate removal of “SMEAR: Barack Obama is a Muslim” statement from the official Barack Obama’s website as well as an apology for giving the word “Muslim” a negative connotation.

    George Carlin said it right,don’t blame the politicans,who put them there to start with.The public needs to educate itself on who they are putting in office.We vote for these people who don’t have a clue,then bad mouth them for the next four years.Mr Williamson said it right ,grow up ,and I might add ,smarten up.All we listen to is some person telling us how well off we are ,when we know deep down that things aren’t any better.Also we let them scare us with religon,gun controll,same sex marriage and abortion and any other hair brain dufuss explanation that they can come up with. When in reality all the devil they care about is their hip pocket.Do you think these guys lay awake at night worrying about where your next meal or your next tank of gas is comming from.Da.Don’t let these rascials use their scare tactics on you,use your brain.I don’t go along with everything that Carlin talks about,I do believe in God.But I don’t believe God wants me to sacrifice my children for some rich mans oil well or his personal war.We are all in this together.Let us use our brain when we vote and keep our country moving forward.We have a constitution in place to protect us from all this other stuff.Thank God for our fore-fathers.
