We were visited at our home yesterday evening by a door-to-door magazine salesman, working for Interstate Subscription Services. The young man was nice as can be, and he explained that we could purchase a magazine subscription for ourselves or have it sent to a soldier overseas, and in return, he would be rewarded points towards winning a trip to Italy.
I looked over the magazines and asked about the prices on some of them. The lowest prices were all $40 or more, for multi-year subscriptions, which was a significant savings…IF you ever get your magazines. Several reports online about this …

Unfortunately, i did not have my camera with me, so I have no pictures. I did, however, make a sketch of him that I feel is pretty accurate… 🙂

What REALLY goes on at Morgan Minute HQ
Well, I write on here often about my plans and dreams for this site…and they are quite ambitious…but then, life just sort of seems to get in the way (plus, having to go to my ACTUAL job, and work on our house, and find time to do whatever else needs to be done…)…and I go missing for weeks at a time.
This site deserves better than that…and I’m going to try and see that it gets it, sooner rather than later. So…I think it is time to find some other folks who …
A sign of things to come?
As you try to fight off the urge to punch them in the throat, try to take a breath…count to 10…and calmly explain to them that global warming cannot be proven, or dis-proven, by single events, or even periods that seem to support it or discredit it. Record heat waves in the summer do not mean it is absolutely, positively occurring…just like record cold and snow in the winter …

Bastardi: Three of Next Five Winters Could be as Cold or Colder
This winter is on track to become the coldest for the nation as a whole since the 1980s or possibly even the late 1910s. According to AccuWeather.com Chief Long Range Forecaster Joe Bastardi, three or four out of the next five winters could be just as cold, if not colder.
He is worried that next winter, for example, will be colder than this one.
