Are you Tweeting?
If you haven’t jumped in to the world of Twitter yet, it either means you have checked it out, but aren’t interested, have heard of it, but aren’t sure what it is about, or are sitting there right now saying, “What is Twitter?”.
Twitter is basically a stream of short, 140-character messages, or “tweets”, sent by folks from all over the world. You can follow as many (or as few) folks as you’d like, and the range of people on Twitter is just immense. You can follow celebrities, sports stars, or your neighbor. (or us!)

TechKnow: New phones headed our way?

A recent announcement by regional carrier Bluegrass Cellular says that they will be carrying the Motorola Milestone X soon. No word yet on when it will hit the shelves, but some of the stories seem to indicate that a February release could be likely.
The Milestone X is basically the same phone as the Droid X offered by national carrier Verizon. However, do to trademark issues, the phones have to be re-branded when carried by regional carries such as Bluegrass Cellular or our main carrier, Appalachian Wireless.

If you have been near a TV or the internet over the past 24-hours, it is almost impossible that you haven’t heard about the MAJOR winter storm that is preparing to chew up and spit out a large part of the country.

With a general 2-5 inches of snow being forecast for later today in to tonight, bread and milk may be scarce in the grocery aisles right now. I always kid about how folks run out to stock up on food when the least bit of snow is forecast, but truth be told, lots of people in our county live in places where the sun doesn’t always reach, so it doesn’t take too much snow to make it awfully hard for them to get to town.

Yep...we like it!
Somewhere along the way, the distributors of music, movies, video games, and various other products, decided that Tuesdays were a good day of the week to launch new items.
Apparently, it has to do with sales numbers, as weekend sales figures are calculated through Monday. So, by releasing on Tuesday, the item gets a full 7 days to register good sales numbers.
But you don’t really care about that, do you?
